Mt Vert

Managed to catch up with the Mange on the weekend for a jam at ATK and then on to the new Mt Maunganui vert ramp. Now I'm no vert rider, however this ramp is amazing so smooth and perfect. Charlie was killing it, snapped a pic of a clean ice pick. Also a few old school local vert skaters showed up , if you didn't know the Mt has a fairly strong vert skating crew one of the main reasons the Mt got a new vert ramp. Was good to catch up with a few of them and see them shredding the ramp so good to watch. Managed to shoot a pic of Anthony busting a massive air out of the 14 foot vert.  

Sunday Summer Fun

The family and I Caught up with MC Mange and his family on Sunday, to hit up 3 local parks for a roll namely 17th Ave, ATK and Papamoa with a cool of at the beach afterwards. Took my camera along too, filmed some clips and put this edit together. Don't expect any incredible riding just a fun edit featuring a our families and a few local rippers. Enjoy

Taupo

Headed down to Taupo for the weekend, to catch up with Jed and a few Taupo locals, always a good time, also C-town local Hugh Wotherspoon was in town for some shenanigans. So I shot a few pics and filmed some clips, check out the small edit I threw together. The 3rd to last clip is a good reason why you shouldn't push your luck around water.

Long Water

Went for a fairly epic road trip on the weekend, to the Wairoa Y Not Jam, then also ended up in Napier on Sunday for a demo at Skate Zone.

I have to say the hospitality was second to none, big thanks to Darren Mildon and Catherine Couper for putting us up and feeding us very well, and Jed Mildon for bringing it all together.

Also the Mildon family put on a Hangi after the jam, absolutely amazing! Big thanks to them!

The weather held out the whole trip so we got some solid riding in, first in Taupo then Wairoa and Napier on the Sunday, check out the edit of the weekend below.

Taupo........never fail

Huge weekend in Taupo last weekend with the Main Street Jam on Friday and the Bike fest Mega ramp best trick comp on Saturday. Pilgrim bike's owner John Buultjens flew himself and some of the Pilgrim team over to ride, and those boys know how to throw down. Highlights of the weekend, front flip no hander over the box to flairwhip on the quarter by Matt Wyatt and Jed Mildon with a double flip for the best trick on the mega ramp.

The Pilgrim team stopped in at Summerhill on the way to Auckland, had a sweet jam no pic's though as couldn't pass up a jam with those boys, there was actually a line to go up the roll-in, jumps are looking sweet for the 3rd round of the dirt series. 2nd round this weekend, Royals in Cambridge...
