Got some good laps in the woods last weekend. Daniel White & Chester Ebbett made the trip over, even Goldie made an appearance. Winter is definitely on the way, days are shorter and leaves are starting to fall. Hopefully the jumps hold up good and we can get some Winter laps.

Mid week in the woods

Got in a good mid week ride this week, turned up just time to cut some laps thanks to Phil, Jaye and Jack un-tarping and dialling before I got there. Although I did manage to make Portuguese breakfast of my first run so I suppose thats what you get for not helping to un-tarp.

Mid Week Session

Had a solid crew up the woods last night, made it worth taking the tarps off. Shot to Jaye for heading up early to start un-tarping and those who made the trip. Managed to get a few shots at the end of the session.

Late Start

Managed to finally get a decent ride this weekend, we were a bit ambitious/slack this winter and are still waiting for things to harden. Soon though.

Been digging up the woods a bit lately, late season this year boys have been a bit to ambitious, not long now though. Had to lower the old roll in on the weekend, gave us a good opportunity to give the new roll in a bigger deck.

Winter is upon us leaves are falling, digging season has begun. Managed to get an ANZAC day roll on the trails. Trails were running super good, even after all the rain we have had lately. C-Town locals Paul Langlands and Hugh Wotherspoon made the trip over for the day along with part time local Nathan Saunders from Rotorua. Even had a cameo appearance from the elusive Gold Factor. Rad day in the woods with a good crew. Got the camera out to film some clips and make this video, enjoy.

Another edit from Summerhill Trails. Good jam up the woods on Saturday, just a few of the locals were present and I was off the bike, so I actually managed to capture some half decent footage. Also managed to build a sweet retaining wall for the new soon to be built dirt quarter. Enjoy

Summerhill Trails

Rad jam up the woods the other day, been quite a while since the trails have been running this good and even longer since I have had anything worth posting on this blog ( I don't use Facebook so feel free to share around). Thanks to a solid crew of diggers, Jaye Riddle, Phillip Callard and Conner Knox we have managed to get a couple of lines going. In between riding I managed to film some clips and put this together, sorry for the average quality but I had to use what I had. Cheers to all the riders that made the trip for what was a good chill trails jam. Cheers.

Managed to get up the woods on Friday for dig and a session with C-Town local Hugh Wotherspoon, trails are running so good right now. Hard to beat a good day in the woods. Though together a couple of animations of Hugh and I gettin some flow.

Woods update

Managed to get up the woods on Saturday, been pretty slack lately and digging trails has been pretty low on the list of things to get done. All of the trees have lost their leaves, although days are getting longer, apparently we are gaining 1 minute of extra daylight every day, so won't be long and we'll be back to evenings up the woods.

Been working on a new spine on Crete line can't wait to hit it up...

Been pretty busy lately, never enough hours in the day. Shot these pics a week or so ago never got around to posting them. Trails are running so good right now, should be a good jam this weekend.

Goldie shreds, tuck no hander on the second. Just before he took a big hit,which is never fun, so were down a digger for 6 weeks. Get well soon bro.



Been a few years since I seen this many Weta's, they like to live under the tarps. Bet you won't find them at many trails spots around the world.

Got our first ride on the trails today, not all the jumps are finished although it won't be long. What is running is so dialed, check out the animation I shot today of Goldie shredding "downtown".

Club Night

Wednesday night "club night" up the trails, getting it done. Still loads of work to do. Always room for more diggers, all you Tga locals know now, see you up there next Wednesday...

Pics are from the first on "Down Town" straight off the roll-in, everything has been lengthened and  steepened, don't forget your A game.
