2017 Jedi jam

Been a while since the last Jedi jam, so its good to have this event back again. Always a good time in Taupo. Props to Jed Mildon and Tane Lawless for organising and running this event again. Personal highlight for me was the 20+ rider train on the dirt jumps in spa park.

Managed to shoot a bunch of photos, enjoy.

A Flawless Session

I managed to get to Taupo on the weekend for a jam that Hemi Mildon was involved in organising. The weather held out for what was a good days riding, highlights for me would have to be Hugh Wotherspoon for going higher than everyone, Jon Riddle super consistent and smooth riding, Joe Simpson flipping the Taupo spine don't think many people have done that and of course the after party. I managed to film some clips and threw this edit together, check it out.

Taupo

Headed down to Taupo for the weekend, to catch up with Jed and a few Taupo locals, always a good time, also C-town local Hugh Wotherspoon was in town for some shenanigans. So I shot a few pics and filmed some clips, check out the small edit I threw together. The 3rd to last clip is a good reason why you shouldn't push your luck around water.

2012

First post for 2012, happy new year.

Had major computer issues so haven't been able to post for a few weeks, small tip always back up, not that I didn't, just a good tip!

Because of the really shit weather we have been having,

first round of NZDS at Summerhill trails will be on the 28th January 2012.

On a side note here's a few pic's I shot of Jed in the last few weeks, when the weather permitted, this arguably has to be the wettest summer ever.

No one rides Taupo like Jed....... boosting on home turf just before the rain showed up.

Open your eye's

One of the most incredible moments of BMX history, went down in Taupo this weekend.
Jed Mildon with a world first, Triple Backflip!!!
Congratulations Jed, all that hard work has paid off.......Legend

Amazing!!! he got it first go!!

And Jake Prebble, aka Gypsie throws down another world first (pretty sure, correct me if I'm wrong), the Gypsie-Bus...... Indian Frontflip. Not bad for his second ever attempt at a frontflip.

The set-up

This is for you Mark! Handplant on the Taupo spine at the jam the next day.

And once again Taupo comes though with another good weekend,

Times in Taupo...

So, I've been in Taupo for the last few days helping out Jed build some ramps for his comp on Saturday 28th of May (next weekend) in Spa Park called, "Unit T3 Mindtricks", with a park jam on Sunday. It is going to be incredible, and Taupo never fails for a good time, so come and check it out, bring your bike and some beers, you might even get to witness a world first or two. Either way it going to be....
Can't show you any pic's of the ramp, you have to see it for yourself

Yes, we needed a crane.

Few pic's from one of NZ's best parks....Taupo

Taupo........never fail

Huge weekend in Taupo last weekend with the Main Street Jam on Friday and the Bike fest Mega ramp best trick comp on Saturday. Pilgrim bike's owner John Buultjens flew himself and some of the Pilgrim team over to ride, and those boys know how to throw down. Highlights of the weekend, front flip no hander over the box to flairwhip on the quarter by Matt Wyatt and Jed Mildon with a double flip for the best trick on the mega ramp.

The Pilgrim team stopped in at Summerhill on the way to Auckland, had a sweet jam no pic's though as couldn't pass up a jam with those boys, there was actually a line to go up the roll-in, jumps are looking sweet for the 3rd round of the dirt series. 2nd round this weekend, Royals in Cambridge...
