Managed to get out of the woods on Saturday in time for the last show at Wheels For Curekids. Such a sick event put on by a good crew for a good cause. World class riding for sure. Couldn't find many good places to shoot from, got a couple of reasonable shots though.

Note I spotted on the Freestyle Lifestyle box jump, always best to carry a spare. I recently drove a caravan to the Taranaki and back without a spare, maybe I should take my own advice.

2017 Jedi jam

Been a while since the last Jedi jam, so its good to have this event back again. Always a good time in Taupo. Props to Jed Mildon and Tane Lawless for organising and running this event again. Personal highlight for me was the 20+ rider train on the dirt jumps in spa park.

Winter is upon us leaves are falling, digging season has begun. Managed to get an ANZAC day roll on the trails. Trails were running super good, even after all the rain we have had lately. C-Town locals Paul Langlands and Hugh Wotherspoon made the trip over for the day along with part time local Nathan Saunders from Rotorua. Even had a cameo appearance from the elusive Gold Factor. Rad day in the woods with a good crew. Got the camera out to film some clips and make this video, enjoy.

Summerhill Trails

Rad jam up the woods the other day, been quite a while since the trails have been running this good and even longer since I have had anything worth posting on this blog ( I don't use Facebook so feel free to share around). Thanks to a solid crew of diggers, Jaye Riddle, Phillip Callard and Conner Knox we have managed to get a couple of lines going. In between riding I managed to film some clips and put this together, sorry for the average quality but I had to use what I had. Cheers to all the riders that made the trip for what was a good chill trails jam. Cheers.

Thursday, Patch night

Headed over the the mighty C-Town on thursday to catch up with the Patch crew and cut a few tracks, always a fun time for sure. Snapped a few pic's of Hugh, Nico and Langlands. Enjoy.

Langas Backyard Sessions

Headed over to the mighty C-Town on the weekend for a jam at the Patch on Saturday and Langlands backyard on Sunday. Some killer riding went down with a few international riders in town on their way down south for the Farm Jam and Roast-it, although the Kiwi's were definitely holding their own with Jon Riddle taking King of the trails with super consistent riding all weekend, Best rider, Danny Campbell (Aus), Danny is a shredder one to watch for sure, and Best trick Luke Parslow (Aus) with a super smooth 360 flip (or cork 7 whatever you like to call it) over the first. An awesome weekend was had by all, big thanks to Paul and Mat Langlands also Keith Shine for letting us camp in his backyard.

Redbull Double Down

Better late than never here's a bunch of pic's I snaped at the Redbull Double Down on the weekend, weather was real good, jumps were real fun nothing to serious just good size fun jumps, 20 or so riders entered with Josh de Reus took best trick with a flip barspin over the first, Jaden Leeming took 3rd, George Bolter 2nd and Paul Langlands taking first.

Tokoroa to C-town

Went on a small roadie the other day stopped in at Nick Franklins farm few of the guys were keen on a jam in the moto pit before we headed to the Langlands farm in Cambridge to check out Pauls new jumps, make sure to bring your A game if you want to ride there!

Went for a road trip over to Tokoroa, Cambridge and Raglan on the weekend, caught up with Jed and Langlands, and the new Cambridge local Hugh Wotherspoon.
We all headed over to Raglan because as you might of heard the Jedi Jam has been canceled this year, bigger things are in the pipeline! So we needed to find a new location for the last round of the NZ Dirt Series, which will be Dave and Lewis' jumps in Raglan on the 9th of April, more info soon.

I headed over to Hamilton for a roll on the weekend, stopped in at Cambridge on the way though to catch up with Paul Langlands, I was intending to go to Ragland but I couldn't pass up a ride on Paul's local trails, the Patch. So Paul and I headed out there with 2 other locals Jon and Dan, it was a super hot day and not a breeze anywhere, still a good ride though, cheers Paul.

Traveled to Wellington last weekend for the forth round of the NZ dirt serie's, check out the placing's here nzdirtseries.com .
Hugh Wotherspoon's been working real hard lately, and he did a good job on the jump's and the whole day really, the jump's looked really nice and the weather just held out. On a side note watched Anthem 2, quite possibly the best bmx dvd ever made and arguably the best sound track ever!

Had a ride at Pukerua Bay Skate park on Sunday, then got taken to a sweet trail's spot, the "Burrow" these trails are well established and there's a couple of solid line's, cheer's Phil and Kieran for hooking us up much appreciated.

whangamata.........ufo's?

first post wooo..........I went to Whangamata a few weeks ago for a jam at the skatepark and Paul Langlands showed up (random), so we had a jam he was shredding a hip in the old skool bowl so I took a few pics

Then Paul says he wants to flip out of the bowl, cool so I thought I'd get a sequence (which I stuffed up) but when I got home and had a look there was a spec on one of the frames which I thought was dust until I looked at the next frame and it had moved (quite far in 1/4 of a second).

Don't Know what they are, there pretty far away and out of focus but have a look see what you think...
